Fees
Piet & Wright offers the involvement and the services of an in-house counsel at a flat monthly rate, tailored to the needs of your business.  This fee structure provides our clients:
  • High-powered firm quality without high-powered firm fees.  We keep our overhead expenses low, maintaining modest offices and relying on the latest technology to cut costs.
  • We are accessible.  We provide access to experienced business lawyers for swift responses to day-to-day concerns without the dreaded billable hour.
  • We don’t ignore our clients.  We adhere to agreed-upon deadlines, we promptly return our clients’ phone calls, and we continually update clients on our progress.
Our hourly rate is between $300 and $350, so a demand letter which usually takes two to three hours with research and drafting would cost between $500 and $750.  However, our B2B General Counsel model provides some savings over our standard hourly rates.  With a six-month commitment, your day-to-day matters and concerns will receive priority, as much as possible, over other items on our list… and working closely with you will help breed our familiarity with your business model and make future matters simpler to handle. We find this is the benefit clients appreciate most.  When a firm isn’t continually involved in a client’s business, the client is forced to spend time and money educating their attorneys about their particular business each time an issue arises.

These packages can also be used to benefit an employee in need and are tax deductible as an employee benefit at rates higher than most standard business deductions.

We have the following packages available but can tailor one to your specific needs:

Platinum Package

$2,600/month
12 hours
(Savings of $1000)

Gold Package

$2,000/month
9 hours
(Savings of $700)

Silver Package

6 hours
(Savings of $400)

Bronze Package

$800/month
3 hours
(Savings of $100)

In addition to ongoing legal advice, we offer flat-fee services.  A new business startup kit for launching a corporation or a limited liability company costs $1,500 and a full corporate or LLC package with state and municipal licensing costs between $2,500 to $3,500, depending on local requirements. The firm also uses a flat fee structure for advising companies on how to comply with the ever-expanding myriad of legal issues facing today’s businesses.

By offering flexible, fair pricing structures and a wide array of services with the business experience to back them up, Piet & Wright will take the time to learn your business to be your Outsourced General Counsel.

Attorneys John Piet and Charles Wright of the law firm Piet & Wright are pleased to announce they are expanding their presence in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City by offering Outsourced General Counsel legal services.

Many businesses today are large enough to face complex business issues but are too small to hire a full-time, in-house attorney. In order to address pressing legal issues as soon as they arise, these businesses have few options and are all too often forced to keep an outside firm on an expensive retainer. These law firms often do not specialize in business matters and their attorneys are either unable or unwilling to get to know an individual business in order to better understand its issues and provide more effective representation.

The law firm of Piet & Wright has the experience and the willingness to be your Outsourced General Counsel. Their attorneys have extensive experience as managers and business owners and can appreciate the challenges facing small businesses in today’s sometimes volatile marketplace. We can help you navigate the choppy waters of business ownership, including formation, banking, employment law, contract disputes, e-commerce, employment matters, financial issues, and any other concern that may arise during the tenure of your business. In addition to legal services, we also provide business plan review and drafting, employee training program development, marketing plan design, and a host of other services. Our firm is large enough to address any issue you have, while being small enough to take a beneficial team approach to solving any problem that comes your way.
